Search on the internet to find the city’s community data and community environment and background conditions data from different sources that can affect the health and nutrition status of the people in the community. Based on these two types of data, select a target group (e.g., men, women, adolescents, elementary school kids etc.) to perform a needs assessment. Search again on the internet for existing data from national surveys and research articles on your target group and identify three important nutritional problems that affect your target group.
Literature review: You will write a brief literature review on the one main nutritional problem that you choose or prioritize for follow-up intervention. Cite at least 3 scholarly article references in the literature review section. (Note: write this section after you have reviewed the existing data on your community and target population and identified the one nutritional problem you would like to follow-up with a nutrition education).
